Qi (pronounced chee) means energy, air or breath, vitality, or the universal force of life. “Gong” means to work. Qigong literally means “work the energy”. Qigong combines meditation, focused concentration, breathing techniques and body movements to activate and cultivate our vital energy as it flows through the meridians (invisible energy channels), similar to acupuncture, but without the needles and without the need of an acupuncturist. All you need is yourself.

Qigong has been cloaked in mystery for over 4,000 years, a guarded secret of the Chinese elite … until recently. Most qigong teachings are complicated and time consuming, making it difficult for the average person to learn and practice, and many qigong masters do not explain the meaning of the movements or how you benefit from each movement. There are many energy channels in our body. To maintain wellness and perfect balance in the body, the energy must continue to flow through these channels without any obstructions. A blockage in any of these channels will prevent energy from flowing to our organs and other vital parts of the body causing a malfunction in any of these areas, resulting in pain and disease.

Chunyi Lin, formerly an English professor in China, who had developed painful arthritis and depression as a result of a serious knee injury, prayed for a miracle. He was introduced to qigong. It was his first introduction to qigong that had almost completely healed Chunyi Lin. It was through this healing that Chunyi Lin committed his life to the studying and teaching of qigong. Chunyi Lin spent the next 25 years studying with many of the most respected gigong masters in China and it was through this study that he was able to create Spring Forest Qigong, an extremely simple and yet very powerful method of qigong. Chunyi Lin’s Spring Forest Qigong can be learned very quickly and the powerful healing benefits of qigong can be experienced from the very beginning of your practice. Although Chunyi Lin is highly skilled in acupuncture, tai chi and herbal medicine, he feels that qigong is the most powerful.

Neil Kay, MD … cancer researcher at Mayo Clinic says this …
“I met Chunyi Lin when he gave a talk at a symposium on breast cancer. Since then, I have enrolled in two of his classes and I’ve learned a lot about qigong from Chunyi Lin. It is clear to me that Chunyi Lin is a very powerful practitioner of this important method of dealing with human energies and very powerful approach to human health.”

Spring Forest Qigong heals physically, mentally/emotionally and spiritually. Many benefits have been reported following the practice of Spring Forest Qigong, including the healing of cancer, tumors, diabetes, hearing and vision problems, heart disease, lung problems, high blood pressure, skin problems, fibromyalgia, MS, general pain, migraine headaches, allergies, gallbladder and kidney stones, autoimmune dysfunction, digestive problems, bone marrow problems, and mental disorders, such as post traumatic stress, mood related problems, panic attacks, addictions, and many more. Also, Spring Forest Qigong works well in combination with conventional medicine. There is no need to choose between the two.

Sue Sivula, Spring Forest Qigong student … “I had a vein bleed on my brain stem. My doctors suggested surgery. I went for a second opinion at Mayo Clinic. If I turned my head, my eyes didn’t go, I couldn’t drive … I had trouble swallowing and was choking on my food. I went to Chunyi Lin a few times for energy work and when I went back to Mayo, they couldn’t find anything and all the symptoms were gone!”

Stacy Langager, Spring Forest Qigong student … “I had fibrocystic breast disease. I had surgery and had the lumps removed twice. I got another lump and didn’t want surgery again. I saw Chunyi Lin doing his energy healing on the Minnesota News and saw that he was working with the doctors at The University of Minnesota and so I decided to give it a try. The lump was the size of a golf ball and after one session with Chunyi Lin, the lump was the size of a pea. After the second session, the lump was completely gone! My doctors didn’t understand it … they’re amazed. It’s a miracle!”

Esther Trejo, Spring Forest Qigong student … “I have a rare lung disease where protein builds up into the air sacs of the lungs and it’s like wet sand. My St. Paul doctor told me that the only way that I was going to get off oxygen was through a lung transplant. I had been to the Mayo Clinic and they also told me that the only way I was ever going to get off oxygen was through a lung transplant. I was on oxygen from November, 1986 to March, 1993. I met Chunyi Lin, who was a Chinese Breathing instructor at a local high school at the time. My son wanted me to go see Chunyi Lin, but I resisted … I didn’t really believe he could help me. But here I am… since 1993 without oxygen. I thank God everyday for Mr. Lin. Mr. Lin has given me my quality of life back. I was on oxygen for 24 hours a day for over 6 years and after working with Chunyi Lin …8 weeks later I was off of oxygen!”

Greg Gerber, MD, Chief of Internal Medicine at SW Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas on the benefits of Spring Forest Qigong …
Dr. Gerber discusses the many physical and psychological benefits he has seen in his patients who practice Spring Forest Qigong. He says the results he has seen in many cases have been "absolutely remarkable," including patients dealing with diabetes, glucose control, hypertension, arthritis and more … Watch Dr. Gerber here …
